I’m heading to Prince George, B.C., for work next month and wanted to whip up something to keep my hands warm. (I live in Vancouver and usually only need fingerless mitts.) I wanted to use up this boring black yarn and its related blue and green; they’ve been in my stash forever. I only have one skein of black, and it wasn’t quite enough for my original plan, so I had to wing it on the second mitt, so they don’t quite match. Close enough, though.

I incorporated texting holes for the index finger and the thumb like in this DROPS design and Elizabeth LeBlanc’s Bulky Texting Mitts.
