This hat was big fun to make! I followed the pattern but instead of just using 4 colors, I got out a bunch of sock yarn remnants and whenever I changed colors (every 3 rows after the brim), I just picked out a solid and a variegated that had a lot of contrast, to each other and to the preceding and following rows. It is such a great way to get rid of remnants and make something nice. I also added a tassel with the yarns that I used in the hat. I might give it away but I haven’t decided yet.
