I bought a skein of Panguipulli a few months ago, just love the colorways, but didn’t know what to make with it. I finally decided I wanted to do another Alannah, and I really love it. It’s a joy to work with, and the colors are quite spectacular. The Brown Sheep LP Worsted in Spice shows up quite nicely in the mosaic pattern. The only variation I did was to make 5-row tubes rather than 3-row as in the original pattern. I did 1 extra background row above the first tube, and below the second to make sure the tube didn’t cover any pattern.

The Spice is not nearly as bright in person. That’s what I get for trying to take photos on a dark, dreary day. If the sun peaks out soon, I’ll try another photo session.

Well, no more photos. I took it into the shop, and some (lucky) person opened up their package on Christmas morning, and…there it was! Still one of my favorite versions of this hat.
