Notes

This is a chart from the book Pearls on the Pulse. I did a pair of these for a friend. She wanted to wear them at her wedding, and did so. Hers were a solid olive green with the same pattern, but more multicolor blue/teal/green beads. Mine are made of Opal sock yarn with simpler beads. It’s a fun technique, but I can only do it for a short while on those little needles.

UPDATE: 4/30/08 Finished, finally. I have some arthritis in my fingers and the little needles are a bit hard to work on, but I finally finished them last night. I put a little ruffle on the 3-needle bind off, but haven’t decided whether to take it off or not. They washed up very soft and comfy. I thought they were going to be too small, but fit perfectly. I love them. Wore them this afternoon under my sweater and they helped keep me warm. They are calling for snow tonight!
