Notes

Chris Bylsma is a wonderful designer, and this is a lot of fun to do. Great stash buster, and could be resized to fit anyone. I’m doing a class next month, using this pattern to teach mitering. I’m using Brown Sheep LP worsted as a base, and many other yarns, including some more subtle eyelash-y yarns, ribbons, a little mohair, etc. Fun, fun, fun!

3/1/08 I finished it 2 am on Thursday. It’s really pretty. The only thing I did differently from the pattern: I used the same size 10 1/2 needle on the attached I-cord all the way around. I hadn’t blocked it, and it seemed a bit small. On the called-for size size 9 needle, the I-cord was just too tight to stretch.
