This MC shell pattern with the CC ch row inbtw is very beautiful, even more so, considering its done with bulky yarns. It’s an easy, fun and quick project and I’m not a color work person.

The pattern states to use 2 sk of the bulky yarn. One is plenty. After working longer rows than the pattern and an extra sc row followed by a sl st row, there was still yarn leftover.

One sk of the mohair yarn, held double, is enough for two cowls, even with extra st cast on.

Work beg ch’s very loosely. Made beg ch 76 st for a longer cowl vs 56 per pattern.

Worked Mohair Metallic yarn (held double) ch stitches very loosely. Cowl is handwash because of the mohair yarn.

This cowl would be beautiful and luxurious with the Buttercream Angelhair yarn / Alpaca Solid combination.
