Notes

This yarn is very beautiful. Washable, too! The sk was of very good quality- no knots.
My guage is bigger than patt, but there’s more yardage in this yarn than that used in designer’s cowl.

Worked chain in larger hook, then switched to D3 hook. Worked 224 ch + 3, then proceeded to row 1 without joining. Row 1: dc in 3 ch from hook, dc in ea ch, joined to 1st ch3 (dc) to form ring.

I didn’t work the honeycomb pattern correctly, but went with it consistently thru out. It’s still pretty. I’ll get it right next time. I’m planning on making this cowl with the same yarn in 4 other colors.

( I made this same cowl in another color, picking up the posts correctly, and it went more quickly. )

Finished both edges with: sc in dc, ch1 all around for stable yet strechy edges.

Top picture is after washing. Second picture is before. Stitches relaxed and has a bit more length after washing.
