I really like the angled shaping of this design. The bobbles provide great texture.

The designer provides very clear instructions on how to make the crossed dc and bobbles.

Worked foundation hdc vs ch row followed by hdc. Made ch portion of fhdc very loosely.

Clarification #1:
Rows 3, 6 & 7 state: ch2, 2hdc…
One should make those two hdcs in the same first st or last st as needed. That’s what creates the diagonal. Later, in that row, there’s hdc 2 tog, worked across 2 stitches.

Clarification #2:
For the bobble, one works the * section and then rpt that portion 4x, resulting with 5 loops on the hook, or 5 dc’s. After the initial bobble, there’s 6 loops to pull thru because of the loop from the previous ch 1 st. If you elect to work 4 dc’s on all bobbles, you’ll have 5 loops to pull thru.

This yarn is okay. I’ve used it on a couple other projects. One sk had a knot connecting two clashing sections. The colors starting and ending the skeins do not match. One needs to pull many yards out to get to a coinciding place. One of the skeins in this project had large slubs in several places.
