Wish pattern gave gauge for regular straight rows hdc.
Pattern gauge is measured after working r 1-6.
Worked 6 circles to arrive at patt gauge.
All the hooks resulted in correct stitch gauge, but getting the row gauge took some effort.

The pattern has a photo of six rounds.
The diameter is supposed to be 4 1/2” - 4 3/4” with a D 3.25 or E 3.5 mm hook.
Mine is 4 1/4” with I 5.5 mm hook.
If I go to a bigger hook, my stitches will be to big, width wise. Gonna stick with the I 5.5.

Pattern does not give any dimensions for any size.
Height and circumf dimensions would be nice.

Back post dc’s are not fun to make but are important for the look and texture.
