Notes

A great design for a super bulky yarn.
Simple and impressive due to the scale of the yarn.
Works up quickly.
A good in between project to have going to take a break from some other one that requires concentration.

This bargain yarn looks expensive and has same gauge as design yarn. It’s a roving style, so it gets fuzzy. Got it 75 % off. It won’t stand up to something that gets a lot of wear. The non-woven fibers are wrapped around a white fabric cording very loosely.

If you want to make this:
Berroco should offer this pattern for free.
It’s simply the moss stitch and fringe.
With any yarn and the appropriate needles, stitch a gauge, choose a scarf width, cast on an even number of the needed stitches and knit away to desired length!
I feel like I’ve been ripped off.
Because the design yarn is busy, I couldn’t see the pattern.

Chardonel Scarf
I didn’t go thru the projects before I started.

Added buttonholes along the long edge and at one end.
Many ways to fashion it.
And fringe!

Upon washing, the scarf became much more drapey, which was a very good thing. It was quite stiff and had a heavy feel. Now, it feels light and airy.
