A great hat to go with a pretty cowl I made with these same yarns.

This isn’t my personal pattern.
It’s available from Craftsy using their Sprightly Acrylic Wool Super Bulky yarn. Directions are very clear and include three sizes.

The pattern is seamed, but the seam area is imperceptible. One can pop the hat on without worrying where the seam is.

Easy, quick and fun to make. Made in just a couple hours!

Adapted patt to this yarn combination:
Fsc 18.
(don’t count ch1 as a stitch)
Ch 1, sc acr, back loop only.
Repeat above row to desired width, 20” - 22”.
Sl st seam.
Thread yarn thru one edge for crown.
Pull tight and knot.
Make pompom if desired.

This same pattern is available, free, from Lion Brand Gold Medal Hat, crochet. It calls for N-13 9.0 mm hook and 2 sk Wool-Ease Thick and Quick super bulky yarn.

Tip:
When holding several str yarn tog, work them from their indiv skeins rather than prewinding them into one big ball.
