Notes

This beautiful pattern is designed for this amazing yarn by Fiesta Yarns, a company no longer in business. That’s tragic because this alpaca / tencel yarn is dreamy.

The designer, Ms. Kristen Hansen, has many stunning designs on ravelry. Some amazing shawls.

This pattern is well written and it’s easy to execute. One needs to keep track of what row one is on because the stitches change direction frequently.

Sometimes heart motifs aren’t shaped quite right and these interlocking hearts are really pretty.

Down a needle size for guage, which is typical for me. Was still a little over gauge. Because of that, I had yarn for working the 28 r patt 11 1/2 x vs 13 x, as written. It’s fine to end after row 14 or 16 if you want to make the most of your skein.

Errata #1:
Stitch Key
pattern states:
ssk = slip, slip, knit

Correction:
ssk2tog = slip, slip, knit 2 tog.

Errata #2:
Row 6:
end of row states:
yo, ss, k4
Correction:
yo, ssk, k4

It’s very beautiful.
The alpaca / tencel blend of this yarn is a magical combination. Soft with lovely drape.

This pattern is no longer available because Fiesta Yarns is closed. Anyone who wants this pattern can contact me and I’ll send you a copy.
