Don’t be alarmed by the amount of yarn used in this project. I held numerous strands together for the head / thorax / abdomen piece. Wings, aran double strand.

Nice touch:
The designer staggers the (sc, sc inc) one row to the next, creating a true circle vs a roundish hexagon.
