Notes

Scarf, hat and mitts set.

Thanks to Ms. Mimi for this great pattern! A change from a ribbed crochet one.

It took me a few tries to understand the set up row and pattern row. I have done brioche before, but it was executed differently. The ones I’d done prior involved yarn to front, slip one, yarn to back, then knit one below or purl one below…

It makes a thick, cushy fabric that is stitched knit wise.

Elected to make a contrast brim before working the main color.

Made in one evening. It’s snug. Maybe after washing, it’ll be a little less so. Next time I’ll make size L 22”.

And a matching pompom!
