Notes

This is a very beautiful, unique and creative design.

The lovely Ms. Moon has a most interesting life story summarized on her ravelry page.

Red brick colored yarn knitted in a brick and mortar motif!
Yarn pun!

Five st pintuck rows and rev st st columns make the mortar motif. YO’s, ssk’s and k2tog make the raised texture for the bricks.

The pattern is worked in 26 rows which are written out very clearly. The more you work the rows, the faster it moves along. It’s easy to see what to do once familiar with the pattern.

I’ve used this yarn twice before and it’s very beautiful. All the colors are very pretty. It’s easy to work up. Has a lovely drape.

Made as a scarf. Worked 1” garter st hem at each end.

Even with a smaller needle, was over guage, but just kept going until out of yarn and that’s how long it is!
