Notes

This is a beautiful design and pattern is very well written. Thanks Ms. Intveld!

Knitted brushed suri along with lace weight- both strands tog thru out to help the garment keep its shape. The lace yarn doesn’t take away from the beauty of the brushed suri and did not affect guage. If it gets bigger in the future, as I’ve been told predominantly alpaca garments can do, it can be worn as oversized.

Neckline as written a bit low: starting at arm opening shaping.
Raised neckline: Worked 20 r above arm opening shaping, per personal preference.
Left Side: worked 19 st, placed rem st on holder. Worked 1 dec ea r on neckline edge for next 5 r. Worked 1 dec alt r 2x. Worked 12 st even to match back arm opening.
Right arm/neckline shaping:
Rejoined yarn at neck st on holder. Bound off all but 19 st. Worked rem 19, reversing shaping as other side.
Worked sl st crochet around neck edge for stability with 5.5 mm hook. ( Neckline looks a bit off, but it’s okay. The garment just was that way on the fabric of the mannequin.)

Elected to work traditional shaped sleeve caps vs the lowered, flattened sleeve cap as written. Made sleeves 2” shorter to be wrist length. Cast on 26 st vs 30 for trimmer sleeves per personal preference and worked patt incr as written.

Sleeve cap shaping, 52 st:
BO 6 st beg next two r, 40 st.
dec 1 st ea end alt r 3x, 34 st.
(2 r even, dec 1 st ea end on 3rd r) 2x, 30 st.
(3 r even, dec 1 st ea end on 4th r) 2x, 26 st.
(2r even, dec 1 st ea end on 3rd r) 2x, 22 st.
(1 r even, dec 1 st ea end next r) 1x, 20 st.
dec 1 st ea end ea r 4x, 12 st.
BO rem 12 st. Sleeve cap should be 7 - 7 1/2”.

Needed 6 sk for size S.
