Notes

Down one needle size to obtain guage.
A few lines in the chart are easy to lose your place in.
Shade in every other line w pencil.
Add light vertical lines as well.
Be extra careful on lines w several k2tog and ssk 2tog w various yo’s. Counting stitches frequently saves time.

For my next one, I’ll construct rows in knit / purl fashion.
This will create a ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ side, but the lace pattern will be featured, especially when viewed close up.

Use the finished measurements - pre and post blocking as a tool if you plan to use this yarn alone in a sweater.
Knitters ‘carry’ alpaca yarn with a wool fingering yarn simultaneously, because the alpaca alone relaxes a great deal.
I plan to compensate for that lengthwise and widthwise by making a sweater in a smaller size and shorter length.

Used almost all of the 3 sk.

Blue Sky Alpacas has several other beautiful scarf patterns using various yarns.
