I’ve made the roly poly and beetle from this design.
Easy and fun to make.

Pattern states:
After Rnd 28, before Rnd 30: switch to black yarn.
If one is following the pattern color changes, I don’t know if one is to change color after r 28 or 29…

Modified color changes to resemble Bombus sonorus, a species that lives in the Sonoran Desert, Arizona.

Sadly, the design does not include crocheted wings for the bee. A little disappointed about that.
Made crochet wings modifying wings from a hummingbird design.
