This is the fourth time I’ve made this fabulous free pattern. It’s very easy and quick.

For many mohair / lacey yarns, one sk will make two scarves of this design. The same goes for many accompanying bulkies.

Elected to cast on 52 (very loosely) with lacey yarn held double for cast on row only. Elected to cast off with bulky (very loosely).

Made this scarf starting with the outside of the skein, which had the darker shading.

I knit the bulky yarn tog with the lacey yarn on the first st of every row. When worn as a scarf, it works as a border. When worn as a cowl, it blends right in.
