Notes

A great method for this motif.
Typically, the caterpillar stitch is done with truckloads of knits and purls. This pattern, is done all knit wise and slipped stitches.
Genius.
Ms. Heather’s technique results in the caterpillars being more prominent as well.

My yarn is dark, so the motifs aren’t as apparent as would be in a lighter yarn. That’s okay. Camouflage. The resultant fabric has great texture and is very warm.

Adjusted for a less bulky yarn than original design.
Held two str tog.
Made as rectangle long scarf.

Patt rpt in multiples of 4 + 3.
CO 27.
