To fit the 34 g perennial chocolate eggs.
(They’re actually really good!.)
Needed 21 total.
Each one uses about 15 y, ~ 5 g.
Each main section takes about 1/2 hr to make.
Takes a bit of time to add the details: 1/2 hr ea, also.
Super fun, tho.
Proud of myself that I didn’t eat half of the candy eggs along the way.

Now that I’ve made one, will be able to make the rest very quickly: assembly line style.
Lots of wings, man!

Recommendation:
Make all the eggs, then, all the wings…,tails…,feet.
Stuff the parts in each egg as you go.
When all chick parts are made, attach them.

Main section, increased to 24 st, followed by 6 rows even, then, decrease row.

Made feet from Baby Chick/Duckling Keychain.

Beak:
MR, sc in Ring, close up ring loosely.
ch 1, dc in ring, ch1, sc in ring,
ch 1, sc in ring, hdc in ring, sc in ring.
f/o with tail for sewing.
fold beak in half and attach.
