This design is sponsored by the yarn company. It is an intentionally simple design designated for this yarn in order to sell said yarn. They should compensate the designer fairly and offer it for free or at a very low cost, certainly less than $7. I mean no disrespect to the designer.

I had a similar free pattern that needed some adjustments to adapt for this yarn, but had trouble figuring out how many stitches to cast on. I knew how to make the mesh pattern but I didn’t want to do miles of knitting and not have the length and width come out right.

This is a very nice design for a quick and easy gift or item for oneself.

Cast on a few stitches less to allow yarn for crochet button closure.
Worked flat for button closure.

Tip
Wind yarn by hand keeping ribbon flat as you go.
In so doing, the strand will work flat. If it gets twisted, simply turn the ball until the twists are gone. Doesn’t take much time and is worth it.
