Very happy that this and all of this designer’s projects are worked flat. If otherwise, I wouldn’t make them because I don’t like making small knitted pieces in the round.

Suggestion:
Nose:
Cast on with knitted cast on stitch vs trad long tail method.
The first row is knitted and on doesn’t want the ‘purl appearing’ loops of the cast on to be on the RS.

Alternatively, cast on with long tail method but work purls instead of knits and vice versa for all subsequent rows.

Sparkles Surprise!
Used a beautiful sparkly stash yarn.
In sunlight, the silver sequins sparkle in every pastel color.
Upon stitching, if the sequins are on the WS, one can move them to the RS.

Made a second companion kitty with a smaller needle:
