Delighted for this design worked flat.
I don’t do dpns or magic loop knitting.

Issue:
Head:
After the stitching is done, the directions state:
Using a strand of yarn, gather thru the cast on edge, draw up and fasten off.
Sew head seam and stuff lightly.

The above ignores what to do with the bindoff edge.
One can’t stuff it after the head seam is done. The whole piece would be closed up.

Recommendation:
Head:
Upon completing stitches, sew head seams first.
There’s two seams to stitch.
Stuff lightly.
Using a strand of yarn, gather thru the cast on and cast off edges.
Draw up and fasten off.

Used an eyelash yarn comparable to design yarn but my kitty turned out much smaller. That’s okay. I modified the muzzle, leg and tail lengths accordingly.

Gauges:
11 st 15 r / 4” st st US 10 1/2, 6.5 mm needles, furry yarn.
19 st 28 r / 4” st st US 6, 4 mm needles, worsted yarn.
