Notes

This is a free pattern from Patons yarnspirations as seen on Uplands skein.

This is a very nice budget friendly yarn that looks and feels expensive. Fun to work with. It creates a marbled fabric without obvious striping.

There’s two rows of a rib patt followed by 2 r st st. The st st rows disappear inbetw the rib patt rows, creating a lovely substantial fabric.

Errata:
If the guage stated in the pattern download is 8 st / 4”, it is incorrect. The yarnspirations designer acknowledges that the correct guage is 14 st / 4”.

Tip:
Cast on very loosely. The main section has a lot of give, so the cast on row needs to do the same.
Make cast on row only with needles one or two sizes bigger than the project needles, remembering to switch to project needles for subsequent rows.

Cast off very loosely as well with JSSBO = Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off method. Instructions:
