Notes

Really like this budget friendly yarn. It’s 100 % acrylic but looks and feels like expensive wool.

This was a free pattern for this yarn. It is very simple and very beautiful. All stitches are worked knitwise, so it’s great for the continental style.

The rib that’s created would be very good worked vertically.

If one wanted to work it as a cowl, circular fashion, upon figuring how many st to cast on for desired circumference, even rows would be purled.

Pattern uses the ‘k1 below’ stitch, where one must pay attention in capturing all the strands. Pointy needles are a must. Probably not a good project choice for a beginner.

Used the same color as the design project.

I used a different color on another scarf designed for this yarn. The skeins were perfect. The fine strands stick together and are wound flat in the sk. It really isn’t a problem keeping the str tog.

Cast on 51 st. Using 3 sk for more length.

This is not a quick project, but the time is well spent, due to the interesting pattern that’s created.
