Notes

This design has all the fins similar to a rainbow shark.

Rainbow sharks, ray-finned fish, are called sharks, but they do not belong to the same family. They’re named because of the shape of their dorsal fin.

Rainbow sharks are Fintastic!
They are well known for their relatively large raised dorsal fin. They also have a forked caudal fin, one pair of pectoral fins, one pair of ventral/pelvic fins and one anal fin. That’s a lot of fins for a little fish!

The rainbow sharks grow up to 6”, have an elongated black, dark blue or bright blue body, pointed snout, flat abdominal area. Fins are red to orange-red. The linear area from the gill cover, the eye, and the mouth have a unique stripe. Compared to females, male rainbow sharks have thinner bodies with black lines along the tailfins. Males have brighter coloration.
