I wrote the directions out for myself from her YouTube video.

Issue:
The dorsal center line of the abdomen didn’t line up.
I embroidered the appropriate colors over so it looks right. Even if I had noticed that and adjusted, the flat shaping of the abdomen wouldn’t be right.
If one rotates the abdomen colors so the center line is positioned properly, the flat shaping of it will be 90 degrees off.
I’ll have to look at the video again. Oh, well.

Used 15.0 mm black animal eyes.

Held sport wt yarn double.

Embroidered ventral side similar to the real moth.
Added accents to wings as well.

Might make a moth caterpillar if I can figure it out.
There’s a pattern for a similar one on ravelry but it is enormous.
