This is a very sophisticated yet easy crochet design. The directions are well written.

This yarn is very pretty with the sparkle and it’s budget friendly. On sale the total cost is ~ $15 - 20. It’s very easy to work with. The hook glides into wherever it’s supposed to go.

This pattern is featured on the yarn wrapper and is referred by name on reverse side of wrappers.

There’s a couple issues with the dimensions and number of chains written.
Instructions state to ch 146. Mathematically, that comes to ~ 64” length. Much longer than the pattern’s dimension of 48”. The model is shown with the cowl wrapped double. I doubt that a 48” cowl would fit that way, especially with this bulky yarn. I’m thinking the cowl is actually the ~ 64” size.

It’s a good idea to make beg ch very loosely. On mine, that edge isn’t as flexible as I’d like.

The photo shows the beginning edge finished in color B. Instructions don’t have that detail. One needs to sc along that edge in black. I am on guage and will have plenty of yarn leftover for that. Even if one stitches over guage, the listed amt of yarn will be plenty..
