Notes

This yarn has incredible texture.

This pattern is unique and elegant. It’s also quite versatile with at least three ways to wear it.

Elected to work a 3 r buttonhole vs the eyelet buttonhole as written:
RS facing over the four designated purled stitches, p1, bind off two, p1… patt to end as directed.

Next r, WS facing, k1, cast on two tightly with backward loop, k1… patt to end.

Next r, RS facing, p1, p into loop, twisting loop once more, p next loop likewise, p1… patt to end.

The 3r buttonhole is flexible yet keeps its shape and blends in on the RS and WS.

Note:
The wording of the patt is a bit odd.
Pattern states:
’Row 8 rows in ribbing.’
I think it means:
Work 8 rows in ribbing.

Elected to place buttonholes along the long edge farther apart than directed.

Elected to dry with ribs lain flat vs close tog accordion style.
