Notes

This designer uses unique and beautiful stitch combinations. Very creative.

Beads:
Used about 1,700 total
Border:
of the stitches outside the markers, placed a bead on the innermost stitch, each side, every other row.

Mailweb section:
Placed a bead on the first k stitch after the yo, odd rows.
~ 65 beads here.

Snow Flowers section:
on WS purl rows 16, 20 and 24, placed a bead on the stitch that will be the third stitch of the three stitch group. When working RS r 17, 21 and 25, the bead is positioned where the three loops fan out.
~ 31 beads here.

Weeds and Thickets section:
placed a bead when working the purl row prior to the bobble RS row, so a bead would be at the top of each bobble.
worked bobble as described below.
placed bead when working the p7tog stitch.
70 beads here.

Burrs and Brambles section:
placed a bead at the top and bottom stitching of each bobble.
~ 116 beads.

Conifers section:
beaded every yo on the purl side.
486 beads used this section.

Snail Trail:
placed bobbles in an undulating line.
placed an 6/0 matching glass seed bead the stitch immediately after the bobble to represent a snail.
~ 65 beads.

Second Mailweb section:
Worked 3 st motif, then k3.
Placed bead on WS purl st on the loop that will be the slipped stitch on the RS. From the WS, it the stitch before the slipped st, previous row.
Worked 6 sets of the two row mailweb stitch.
Modified it a little to accommodate beading.
used ~ 385 beads in this section

Snail Trail # 2
Worked 4 r garter st with beaded snail bobbles in a random placement along r 2.

Bind-off
beaded every stitch, yes, every one, stretchy bindoff.

alternate bobble technique:
(used this bobble in the Weeds and Thickets section)
r 1: (k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1) in one stitch.
r 2: p7
r 3: k7, loosely.
r 4: p7tog tbl.
This makes a bigger bobble than the one in this design.

Note:
K7tog tbl: use a crochet hook instead of the needle to pull the yarn through all 7 stitches.
Alternatively, work this decrease by slipping the 7 sts purlwise to the right needle,
then wrap the yarn back to front around the top of the right needle.
Next, work the 7 loops over the yarn one at a time, then, off the needle.

Tip:
I worked the k7tog without the tbl.
