This is a free pattern on the yarn wrapper of Big Twist Natural Blend from Joann Fabrics and Crafts.

The pattern is Broken Shaker Rib, which involves casting on an odd # stitches, very loosely. Do not join.
R1 and all odd rows = RS = knit.
R2 and all even rows = WS =
k1, •p1, k1 below, rep from • to last 2st, p1, k1.
Repeat above two rows two more times.
Knit 1 r.
R8 = k1, •k1 below, p1, rep from • to last 2 st, k1 below, k1.
Repeat above two rows two more times.
Repeat the 12 row pattern to width of 18”, cast off very loosely. Sew side seam.

This Sirdar Denim Ultra yarn is super fun denimy fabulousness.

I didn’t keep track of rows, so I have a straight rib pattern thru out. For this yarn, I cast on 73 st.

You can elect to work in the round, marking join. All odd rows need to be purled.

I made this design with this same yarn for Ronya’s Fisherman’s Cowl and with another yarn in Galaxy Fisherman’s Cowl with great success.
