Took 40 - 45 minutes to make each petal. Not bad! Entire piece makes up in just a few hours, a couple evenings, perhaps.

Odd thing 1 :
Not sure the designer’s gauge listing is correct on the pattern page.
Gauge: 25 repeats / 4”
That can’t be 25 sc nor 25 rows / rounds.

Odd thing 2:
Patterns do not state how much yarn is needed of each color. (The designer will update this info.)
For this design:
White, super bulky: one skein, 130 y (120 m)
Yellow, super bulky: two skeins, 260 y (240 m)
If one uses a velvet style super bulky and the design hook, the center piece will probably use about half of a 120 m skein.

Perfect design for the Rick Rack and Segue yarns.
Held ribbon yarn double with a bigger hook in order to use the whole skein. This resulted in a bigger center piece than the design size. Needed 7 petals because the center section was bigger than the design one.

Added a frill around the center because I had a little extra yarn.
