Very beautiful, yet easy crochet. Enjoyable to make. Generous of the designer to offer it free.

The resultant fabric isn’t too open, which can happen in crochet.

Tip: When making sc’s, do so into both loops of the designated st. Same goes for the dc st at end of r2.

This Scarfie Denim / Navy is really pretty. I wish I had more of it for more scarves! Everybody likes the denim coloring in yarns these days. I ordered it from craftsy because the Joann’s stores here didn’t carry it. I didn’t care for the other black / color combinations, except for the black / cream.

Elected to make this as a regular, rectangle, sampler style scarf. Worked this pattern for 22”, then two other patterns listed for 22” each. I really like the sampler style projects that are being seen lately. The 2nd and 3rd sections are simple and complement the fluffy clusters of the 1st section.

If you incorporate the Loopy Love Cowl pattern, there’s a teensy error in the written directions of r2:
Ch3, sc in next ch 3 loop.
• ch3, dc in same loop, sc in next ch 3 loop.
Rep from • to end…

Added a simple sl st border to finish and strengthen the ends.

Upon washing, scarf increased in length a few inches.
