Notes

Perfect gift for a family friend, a guitar enthusiast who loves purple! An amazing design.

This is the first cable project I’ve done where all the cables are in one direction. Kinda nice.
Thanks so much to Ms. Amy for writing out the pattern.

I’ve had this pattern and yarn planned all year and now, it’s part of a gift along. Gift along ends dec 31. Got it done a week before Christmas. Time to get it mailed.

Since it’s a reversible pattern, there’s lots of k1, p1…
Takes time, but looks very nice and makes a rich, warm fabric.

Every Mirasol yarn I’ve ever used has been the finest money can buy. This Nuna is no exception. I’d have to say it’s in the top five of my all time favorites.

  1. Marks and Kattens Alpaca Silk
  2. Woolly Wonka Nimue Sock
  3. Plymouth Yarn Taria Tweed
  4. Lion Brand Wool-ease Thick and Quick
  5. Universal Fibranatura Inca Tweed and Lima Tweed.
  6. Mirasol, anything Mirasol.

That’s more than five. I can’t decide.

The Nuna yarn does fuzz up a bit as it is worked.
Immersed finished scarf in very hot water to minimize that future pilling.
