Elected to work yarn double, bigger hook to get a bigger pillow, comparable in size to commercial squishes.
The design as written yields a cute one, but is more a toy size vs cushion / decor pillow size.

Elected to use horns and feet from Cow Squish, a free pattern.
Made an impromptu tail.
Used 18.0 mm solid black animal eyes.
Reinforced stitches invisibly where the post of the eye went in.
Added a carry handle on the back.
