Notes

This is an lovely design. Easy to memorize the 2 r patt.

Elected to work fsc because a regular beg ch got hopelessly twisted. The fsc makes a nice edge finish as well. Worked a row of sc and a row of sl st, ch1 for a final hem finish.

Elected to work 7 shells from 30 fsc for a little more width.

The colors from neither the center nor outer pull of the skeins are consistent one sk to another. If one wants the color gradation to flow as if from one big skein, one needs to match it up by pulling yarn from one end or the other to find a good place to blend in the next skein.

I’ve used this yarn before without issue, but this time, the second sk had two clashing sections knotted together: dark black and very light gray. Didn’t appreciate that because 30 g from the beg of the second sk was unusable and then another 30 g from the middle. I guess Lion Brand doesn’t care about color symmetry.

The finished scarf is very pretty. A quick project as well.
