Notes

This is one of the most beautiful cowls I’ve ever made. It is very drapey, as the designer intended and there’s numerous ways to style it.

This Capriccio yarn is incredibly soft and unbelievably beautiful.

A bit tricky to see the st and that slows things down, but the result is spectacular.

Tip:
When working a highly textured yarn such as this one, place a marker on the first sc of every row. Count your ch 1 spaces after every row. If you’re off, you can fix it more easily.

I’ve worked the sc tbl, ch1 pattern before and it makes a very pretty crocheted rib.

Held bulky yarn single and fingering double for a little more structure and to see the stitches a little better.

Directions state to ch1 after the last sc of ea r, turn, then sc in first sc. I had better results by omitting the ch 1. I worked the last sc, turned, sc in first st, then ch1, proceeding from there.

Worked ch 26 for 15” x 44” size.
