I made this fabulous design with this same yarn in a different color, and slightly narrower / longer. Very light and drapey. Both are most luxurious.

The Capriccio yarn is hard to see the stitches with, so I carried a fingering yarn held double to help out with the execution. The fingering didn’t affect the guage.

Ch 36 for 17 ch spaces.

Tip:
With highly textured yarns such as this one, it’s a good idea to place a marker in the first sc of each row. It’s also a good idea to count your ch 1 spaces after every row. If you’re short one, you can take care of it more easily.
