Notes

Everybody wants one!
Thank goodness it doesn’t take long to work this up.
It’s fun.
Somewhat instant gratification.
Made in two days!
Yay!

Dreamy + Hygge together are really pretty and together, achieve the same gauge and fabric quality as the design combination.

from the designer:
The model in the photos is wearing a size XS, bust circumf 32 1/4” (82 cm), height 5’ 4” (164 cm).

The designer is very attentive upon query.

The below discussion is based on personal preference and is not a criticism of the design by any means. One can make the top as written with great success.

Recommendation:
Start arm opening shaping 6 - 8 rows higher, then add those rows to the lower torso section.
Pick up 12 - 16 fewer stitches for arm opening ribbing.

Recommendation:
On the under arm ribbing, decrease four stitches on the last row of 1x1 stitches: two at the beginning of the row and two at the end.
On the bind off row, bind of 2 tog at beg and end.
This decreasing prevents the ribbing from flaring out at under arm area. Non-wool yarns don’t always allow for shaping.

As before with these two yarns, the fabric relaxed a bit upon washing. Made size S to achieve dimensions of size M. Recipient prefers a very loose fit.
After getting the back and most of the front done, I realized I was using a US 13 needle and not US 15. Kept it that way. The fabric is firmer than the first one I made, but it’s totally fine. Still comfy.

Neck ribbing: US 13, 5 rows.
Arm opening ribbing: same needle, one row, pick up and knit, 3 rows 1x1 ribbing then, bind off.
