He loves every animal, bug and plant that there is.

Not sure I understand this design: inner pieces…outer pieces. Didn’t want to make a whole animal that is a liner for the outer one. Made the inner pieces only, a complete animal using way less yarn. Used most of my yarn for the inner main body section. Ran out before I got the flippers made. Used a different yarn to finish.

Unusual technique:
Increases and decreases;
One is directed to sc 2 in each x sc for increases and skip a stitch at specified intervals for decreases. Decreases look nice. There isn’t a gap at decrease areas.

New technique:
Shaping:
One is directed to create a rainbow style shape on several pieces. It creates an arc without working rev sc, thank goodness. The directions are clear on what to do.

Elected to make flippers starting with 8 sc MR, inc to 24 st in next two rounds, then 25 rows even.

Suggestion:
Work the muzzle and tail pieces via magic ring working increases vs a chain, join and decreases.
