Notes

This design is delightful, creative and unique.
It’s a lovely touch that decorative Certificates are provided for each one, for gift giving of the finished ragdoll.

It is a design marvel. I understand what a task it is to design, write and tech edit these pieces.
That said, the directions could be formatted more efficiently.

Recommendation:
Buy only one of this designer’s fairy patterns to see how you like how it is formatted.
She has a very generous multi-pattern discount but not everyone will like the formatting.
The print friendly version takes 23 pages.
If you crochet from an iPad or laptop, printing isn’t an issue.

I rewrote the directions for myself, which took a lot of time, but it printed on a mere 7 pages.

The head, hands, arms, legs and wings are the same for each rag doll. Only the body / clothes and hair will be different on the various fairy rag dolls, so that’ll save paper as well.

The Wings:
They are tricky.
Use the photo tutorial right away.
Use a yarn where the stitches show very well.
Near the beginning and end of rows, there’s ‘3 dc in next, ch 2’ and ‘ch 2, 3 dc in next’. On the subsequent rows, skip those ch 2 spaces. It isn’t written that way.

There are a few errors in the pattern that one has to figure out.

Hair:
It takes a long time to make the hair for this design and it uses a significant amount of yarn. Use wool or acrylic yarn because cotton yarn would be too dense and heavy.
