A simple yet beautiful design. Very easy. Works up quickly.

The pattern does not give instructions on how to get the colorwork as seen in the original design. Simply pulling the yarn from either end will not give the result of the project photo. To get that color scheme, one needs to piece the color segments in the desired order. Two sk of the multi will be needed for that plan because more of the off white will be used.

My scarf began with the off white color, yarn pulled from the outside of they sk. It continues into blue, then off white, blue into med gray.

Pulling from the center of the sk would result in the beginning section with a few rows taupe, then med gray…

For the stripe section, pulling from the outside of the sk makes the dark gray / off white color scheme. I pulled the yarn from the center for my stripe section, which incorporated the off white and taupe colors.

Elected to make scarf a few inches shorter than pattern directs. Not everyone wants a extra long 98” scarf. Quite a bit of length is needed to wrap around for the cowl style look.

Used the same colorways as original design.
