Made this delightful, chic design once before with same yarns in dark purple.

Directions are very clear. Makes up very quickly.

Tip:
Use a 40” length circular needle.
I’ve been using a 32” needle and it’s hard on the hands when working the ribbing bands.

Made as written, cast on wise. Added ribbing at lower hem for a little more length and a finished edge. Added shallow capped shaped sleeves so the sleeve ribbing drops down a bit more. Added button / buttonhole closure.

Made two inner patch pockets from unplied leftover yarn. A girl can’t have too many pockets.

A college graduation gift for my niece, who is relocating from Wisconsin to rural Nevada for a teaching job. This will help keep her warm in the winter, when her classroom is cold. When she wears it, it’s a hug all day. And a little sparkle as well!
