Notes

A great design and great ribbon yarn.
A quick project once you figure out the first two rows.
In Australia, the fabulous Ms. King states things a little differently than in the US.
Directions clarifications:
Row 1:
’ 1sc, 5 ch in the next st’ in US would be :
ch 5, sc in the next st.
Row 2 and thru out:
’ 1 sc 5 ch into the 5 ch sp of previous row in US would be:
ch 5, sc in ch 5 sp of previous row.

Started increases at row 10. Omitted side increases as written so bodice wouldn’t be too wide for wearer.
Added increases every 5th row rather than every 3rd in order to get the most length with limited supply of yarn- discontinued and hard to get.

Began lower border after row 30 for dress length garment. Lower border very pretty and essential for proper drape.
Last row at hem: 2 dc, 1tc, 2 dc to form scallops rather than 7 dc as written.
