Made this cap for a friend who is going thru chemotherapy. I’ve made a few, all that she loves. Now she can grab a clean one every day.

Love this yarn as a non-wool alternative. Easy care, MW cool water, gentle and machine dry, cool air gentle.

Pattern stated to Sl 1 = slip one knitwise.
I had better luck slipping purl wise for proper orientation when working those loops in a later row.

Flat knit pattern states:
DECREASE PART / crown shaping
(Switch to double pointed needles when needed.)

One can continue working same flat needles for the flat knit version.
That “switch” sentence was inadvertently copied from the in-the-round version.
