Notes

This is a free pattern in patternworks kit.

I’ve made several projects with this yarn and I really like it. It’s inexpensive, pretty and easy to work with. The several colors it comes in are great for colorblocking. They coordinate beautifully.

Modification to make ribbed side hems and st st edge.
Cast on 36 ( provisional, for invisible join).
RS r1:
sl 1st st pwise yif, k4, (p2, k2) acr until 5 st from edge, k5.
WS r2:
sl 1st st pwise yif, p4, (k2, p2) acr to 5 st from edge, p4, k1.
RS r3:
sl 1st st pwise yif, p4, (k2, p2) acr to last5, p4, k1
WS r4:
sl 1st st pwise yif, k4, (p2, k2) acr to last 5, k5.

Repeat rows 1 - 4, slipping 1st st every row pwise yif. Move yarn to back after 1st st clockwise if next st is knit.

Finish with r 3.
Join / bind off in patt r4.

This is a relatively quick project. Would make a nice muffler as well by simply starting and ending a few rows: k acr, p acr, p acr, k acr for end hem edges. One could cast on a few less stitches ( in multiples of 4 ) for more length.
