This is an easy, free pattern.

Worked all four strands together.
Elected to work pattern with dc vs hdc as written because the hdc’s made the fabric too dense.
Made crocheted ball buttons for side closure vs back seam.
Accented tail ridges with the shimmery yarn.

When working several str tog, pull directly from the individual sk vs prewinding into one main ball.

Had just enough yarn. Used it all.

It’s much prettier than the photo shows. Didn’t have good light, nor the means to display it.

Friend’s little daughter sleeps in it every night. Keeps her toasty warm. It machine washes / tumble dries beautifully.
