Notes

Very excited about this Bramble stitch…Blackberry stitch…Trinity stitch that the designer is celebrating.

Dozens of little bobbles, one set constructed over two rows, then another, offset, over the next two rows. Very easy and great texture.

If one wanted straight columns of bobbles, one would repeat r 1 & 2 only.

Held yarn double.

Helpful tip
Reversed the purls with knits and vice versa so most stitches were knit wise. In so doing, one makes k3tog vs p3tog.
In those rows, I worked (p1, yo, p1) instead of (k1 yo, k1)..

Neither pattern page nor directions provide gauge or dimensions information. Would be helpful. Got the right fabric density with needle and cast on as written for Rasta option.

To get a similar tweed look (no obvious striping) like the design cowl, worked two sk simultaneously, one str from the outside and one from the inside.

Put on 3 red buttons which fit into existing stitch spaces. No need for buttonholes.

Matching mitts Hibiscus Emmett similar to the ones shown: Sally Gloves.

More very cool, very big bobbles:
Leah Chapman
Avalanche Hood
Ms. Leah’s version of the bobbles is innovative and much easier than the traditional ones. Hers are worked over four rows. Thanks Ms. Leah!
