Notes

Katie Cooks and Crafts crocheted this pangolin free hand, for a contest, which, sadly, she did not win, but triumphed in the end with an attitude of a champion. She’s Champion of the Pangolin, I say, for bringing attention to this beautiful, endangered species.

Her pangolin inspired Pernille Heelsberg to write up the pattern so we can make our own.
Thanks to them both for their genius and generosity.

I had a question about attaching the back scales to the main section at the shoulders. I messaged Ms. Pernille and she replied right away and cleared it all up for me.

Made with a smaller hook for this yarn to keep the size as small as possible.

The designer even planned how to add weight to the posterior area so, like the real animals, the yarn animal can be bipedal.
